For the Bulldogs just like any other organization, fundraising is critical to our overall health and success. With out the funds we receive through fundrasing we could not continue to grow as we have in the past few years.
In 2008 we experienced some major changes to our program, in that we have moved all of our practices from Grant High School where we had been since 1970 to the Field of Dreams Complex in Ingleside. With this move we had some new but critical improvements that we are still today trying to raise funds for. These improvements include, but are not limited to, the addition of permanant bathrooms, and lights. Also we have a practice field on the South end of the complex which needs to be improved, and we have a lot of equipment that we would like to purchase to make this facility better and safer for the children who play here.
The Grant Jr. Bulldogs rely on the generosity of our members as well as the businesses in and arround our community to allow us to keep our fees reasonable, make field improvements, purchase new equipment, provide quaqlity training to our staff, and do many of the other things we do for the community while still providing a safe and educational program for our participants.
Here are some of the ways in which we will be raising funds for our programs in 2009:

Bulldog Discount Cards:
This year our mandatory fund raiser is a wonderful discount card that you can use all year long for discounts at local area businesses. Cards are $10.00 each but we believe that this option is less of a burden on our parents,and children.

Gear Up Fundraiser:
This is a new fundraiser we are trying this year to help us to raise needed funds for things like New Cheerleading Uniforms, Blocking Sleds for Football, and a new Scoreboard for the Game Field.
This is called the Gear Up Fundraiser because as you sell items you qualify for free Under Armour Gear..

This Fundraiser is running throught registration and will be turned in by players by July 10th with the expected delivery date of July 23, 2009

Spaghetti Dinner:
We are in the process of planning the 2009 Spaghetti Dinner
The Dinner was a big hit in 2008, and an affordable dinner, and we hope you will bring all of your friends and relatives and come on out for a good cause.

50 / 50 Game Day Raffle:
This is a raffle done on Game Days where everyone attending the game has a chance to purchase raffle tickets, and the winner splits the proceeds of the ticket sales with us.
