This year all registrations will be done online and available starting 2/14/2012. Another email with a link to the registration will come out as soon as it is live.. We’ll have 4 in person registrations where you’ll be able to use a computer on the internet to register as well as turn in documents i.e. birth certificate. If you wish to keep last year’s jersey number you’ll need to make sure that you are registered before March 24th. In some cases there are issues in the ordering or situations with duplicate numbers so it is not a guarantee that you can keep the same number that was used last year. During the first two registrations we’ll also be taking measurements for jerseys and equipment, so please make sure you bring the player into registration even if you’ve completed the online registration. This year we’ll be offering the 12 week IronMan camp, 7 on 7 spring passing league, GJB Football Camp, flag football and tackle football.
IronMan will start on February 27th and will be similar to last year. One change we are making is that we are adding another session that will run on Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8pm. The space is limited so please make sure that you sign up as soon as we get the online registration open. Cost for IronMan is $165 and will need to be paid in full by February 27th.
7 on 7 will start towards the end of March but the schedule is not set as of yet. The TCYFL expects the number of teams participating to double this year and as a result the games will be played at Carmel High School, Lake Zurich High School and potentially Barrington High School. Practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday until the first game and then move to only Thursdays for the rest of the season. We encourage all 7 on 7 participants to sign up for the Monday/Wednesday IronMan camp. Cost for 7 on 7 is $80.
GJB Football Camp will run from 6-8PM on 7/9/2012 through 7/12/2012. All participants who register before 5/15/2012 will receive camp t-shirt & shorts at the start of camp. If you register after that date you will still receive the t-shirt and shorts, but not until 4-6 weeks after camp. Cost for the GJB Football Camp is $50.
For both flag and tackle football we’ll be using the Football Sweepstakes fundraiser again this year with a few changes. You’ll be given an option to buy out of the fundraiser if you do not want to participate. If you elect to use the fundraiser to help offset the cost you’ll be required to pay the full amount. When you sell the Football Sweepstakes you’ll turn in the stub at the bottom and keep the money.
Flag football will cost $245 if you elect to use the fundraiser. You will be given 6 sweepstakes cards to sell for $20 each, that will bring your net cost to $125. If you elect to buyout, the cost for flag will be $185. Tackle football will cost $460 if you elect to use the fundraiser. You will be given 10 sweepstakes cards to sell for $20 each that will bring your net cost to $260. If you elect to buyout, the cost for tackle will be $360.
For both flag and tackle football, we offer a payment plan option that you can select during registration with the last payment coming on June 15th. We also have a financial assistance option for flag or tackle registration. This option will also be selectable during the registration process.
